The majority of our work comes from Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Monmouthshire and Glamorgan and we have deliveries going out most days to Bristol, Poole, Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth, Wareham, Fareham and Cardiff.

To avoid lengthy lead times we stock all of our core materials in-house – buying in bulk to negotiate favourable rates. Most of our customers order on account, taking advantage of our 24-hour quoting service and 3-5 day turnaround, although we are happy to discuss stock consignment if required.

Without the adverse effects that are experienced with other cutting techniques such as laser cutting, waterjet cutting is the perfect solution for a wide variety of materials and thicknesses.

CUT A WIDE RANGE OF MATERIALS

Unlike laser cutting, thickness and heat are both not limiting factors when it comes to waterjet cutting, this is a huge benefit as it can cut virtually any material. The waterjet can cut a diverse list of organic and solid material. Ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as steel, iron, aluminium, copper, and zinc are some of the most commonly cut materials on a waterjet. But it is just as effective at cutting materials such as plastic, rubber, wood, tile, stone and glass, showing that Waterjet cutting is without a doubt the most versatile cutting method.

WATERJET CUTTING VS LASER

One of the key advantages of waterjet cutting is the ability to cut significantly thicker material than laser cutting without negatively effecting the finish quality. Other cutting methods will start to loose quality over 25mm and have a limited list of material that can be cut, waterjet cutting can reliably cut upto a staggering 200mm thick for mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. This alone shows the signifciant advantages of using waterjet cutting over plasma and laser cutting.
